Toronto Independent Music Awards Showcase Series

The Toronto Independent Music Awards are holding our 2009-2010 “Best Live” Showcase series in Toronto, Ontario at The Central  (603 Markham Street).

Come check out the hottest acts in independent music, see fan favourites and make music discoveries of your own. Haven’t you always wanted to say, I saw that band back when?
 
Artists will be showcasing in three diverse categories in over 22 genres: “Best Live” – Acoustic, “Best Live” – Electric and the OFF THE RADAR “Best Live” Urban Showcase organized in affiliation with The Flavashop Inc. Artists are competing  to win $15,000 in prize packages provided in part by Hydrogen Jukebox

The competition will take place in two seasons and we are thrilled to offer a discounted unlimited wristband. For $20 bucks per season, you can see 80+ new bands at a hip, trendy venue with great food and an outdoor patio!

Season #1 > May–Nov 2009, 14 shows, approx. 84–100 bands + entry to finale showcase

Season #2 >  Dec 2009– June 2010  14 shows, approx. 84–100 bands + entry to finale showcase

Door charge is $7, you are saving $80 dollars per season!

Combined Package > For $40 you get an unlimited wristband to Season 1 AND Season 2, the “Best Live” showcase finale and general admission entry to the TIMAs award ceremony in July 2010 at the Phoenix Concert Theater, the hottest ticket in 2010 SOLD OUT for 3 years in a row!  You are saving  $178 dollars.
